    First Virtual Forum for University Students 2022

    Overview 

    As part of NCED’s mission to foster educational excellence and empower university students with essential life and academic skills, the Center organized the First Virtual Forum for University Students in March 2022. 
    The event brought together distinguished university professors and experts from local and international institutions to provide students with a dynamic platform for dialogue, inspiration, and skill development. 
    The forum aimed to equip students with the competencies necessary to succeed at university and beyond, while promoting lifelong learning and adaptability to future challenges. 

     

    Objectives 

    • Provide students with opportunities to recognize and unleash their potential. 

    • Encourage self-directed and open learning through digital resources. 

    • Develop students’ abilities to face real-world and future challenges. 

    • Prepare students for academic success and smooth transition into professional life. 

     

    Main Themes 

    • Future Leaders: Empowering students to lead with vision and responsibility. 

    • Lifelong Learning: Cultivating a mindset of continuous learning. 

    • Research Skills: Enhancing students’ capacity for inquiry and critical thinking. 

    • Psychological and Mental Health During Crises: Supporting students’ wellbeing. 

    • Technology as a Driving Force: Integrating technology as a key enabler of modern learning. 

     

    Target Audience 

    University students from local and international institutions. 

     

    Participants 

    University professors, educational specialists, and professional experts who shared insights and best practices to inspire students’ growth and success. 

     

     Sessions and Activities 


    The forum featured a main discussion session with distinguished speakers and several interactive workshops that focused on leadership, critical thinking, and self-learning. 
    It served as a vibrant virtual space for exchange between students and academic mentors. 

     

    Expected Outcomes 

    • Greater awareness among students of their personal and academic potential. 

    • Increased reliance on self-learning and critical thinking skills. 

    • Improved readiness for the transition to higher education and employment.
